Mina Athanasius, Articling Student
Mina brings a diverse and unique legal perspective to his career. He was educated through a variety of experiences in many unique circumstances. He obtained an LL.B. from the University of Cairo and practised law in Egypt for several years. He is a member of the Egyptian Lawyers Syndicate and has experience representing clients before various types of courts and tribunals in Egypt.
After immigrating to Canada in 2014, he obtained his Canadian law equivalency through studying law at the University of British Columbia, and the successful completion of the NCA exams. He is also a member of the Christian Legal Fellowship in Canada.
Mina’s Interest in law and social justice began at a young age as the child of a father who is also a lawyer. He has thoroughly enjoyed applying his legal skills for the benefit of financially underprivileged clients in his community.
Keen on expanding his experiences, Mina moved to Timmins to pursue his legal career in Canada through joining EEP as an articling student. He looks forward to serving his new community and contributing to its welfare.
He is multilingual and able to provide service in English, French, and Arabic.
